Kylee grew up in Southern California and started riding at a very young age with her mom, Christy Arbuckle, and Devon Gibson. She had a successful junior career in the Hunters and Equitation, catch riding numerous horses to championships on the west coast. She had the opportunity to ride with top professionals including Karen Healey, Jim Hagman, and Hope and Ned Glynn along with many others. Throughout her junior career she had top 10 finishes in the USEF Talent Search Finals, WCE Finals, CPHA Junior, and CPHA Foundation finals as well as a win in the ASPCA Maclay Regionals. She competed at Indoors in the Pony Hunters, Junior Hunters, and Medal Finals.

In 2015 she graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Accounting. While at Georgia she led their NCAA Equestrian team to three Reserve National Championship titles as well as one National Championship title, and a Southeastern Conference Championship win. She was named All American for Equitation on the Flat, SEC Rider of the year, as well as MVP for UGA’s hunt seat team. She was also named to the NCEA Academic All American Team along with the SEC Academic Honor roll.
